One of the all time greatest Italian Gran Turismos of the 1960s and 1970s! The Ghibli is truly a striking sight of the purest of automotive design. Created by the great Giorgetto Giugiaro when working at Ghia, this design became legendary in the world of Maserati and the car world itself. Built from 1967 to 1973 with a total of just 1,332 Ghibli's ever being produced. Powered by a 4.7 liter dry sump V8 engine, the Ghibli has all the power one would need for a sports GT. Making it the ideal machine to take on the Grandest of Tours. This particular 1970 Ghibli 4.7 is among one of the finest examples there is. Completing a 9 year full restauration, being finished in its original and rare factory color of Marrone Colorado. Of which out of all Ghibli AM115 versions produced only 48 were painted in this color. The interior has been finished in Connolly leather in the shade of Senape, with period correct grain and texture that was used by Maserati. Mechanically rebuilt with matching numbers engine. This Ghibli has been completed as it would have been new in 1970. Making this not a Ghibli but the Ghibli, for any true Italian car collector or Maserati connoisseur.
